Taking the knowledge TFD learnt from our tour in April to Spain and Portugal, we have created our own internal competition & training session, pitching three ability-specific squads against each other in an environment dictated by the teaching styles of TFD’s friends inside three of Europe’s elite football clubs.
There are three squads in each of our four ability-specific tiers of the program.
Each week, each squad will play two games against their peers whilst spending time training relative to the preferred tactics, formations and style of their head coach, who will be guided by information from the above-mentioned football clubs.
COMMITMENT TO OUR CATCH UP SESSION SYSTEM CREATES THE ALL IMPORTANT 3-WAY WIN:
- Players want to learn the most they can in the shortest space of time and enjoy maximum training minutes with quality peers.
- Parents want their child to develop the best competitive advantage over their peers and want high level development in return for the resources parents provide for players to reach their potential
- Coaches want bullet-proof attendance so the best development can be consistently provided.
So, if you’re about to miss a session, no lengthy absence apology SMS is required. Use your time wisely to view our session calendar, and SMS your head coach the date and time of the TFD session that you will attend to “catch up” for the one you’re missing. We offer at least 2-4 alternative weekly equivalent sessions. All our actions aim to ensure our 3-way win happens every time. NB/Select 7’s sessions have minimal alternatives, so missed 7’s sessions CAN be “caught up” with weeknight Top tier or ID sessions.
